Glenn Calvo , 53, died Monday, September 17, 2007 at home. Born in Somerville, he resided in Branchburg for the last 22 years. He was a sales manager for United Supply Company in North Plainfied where he had worked for 22 years. Mr. Calvo was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time at Long Beach Island with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed following his son's and daughter's basketball and track and field events. His most enjoyable moments had been traveling and vacationing to many tropical islands with family and friends. Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years, Janet Verner Calvo, his loving son and daughter, Kyle and Tara, his dear parents, Louis, Sr. and Ulanda Talevi Calvo, of Raritan, his dear brother, Louis, Jr., of Bridgewater, his dear sister, Sandra Garrity and husband, Robert, of Gold Canyon, Arizona and mother-in-law, Mary Verner, of Bedminster, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 214 Church Street, Bound Brook. Visitation hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Glenn's memory to the ALS Association, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA, 19002-2755.
