Xinghai Jiang

Xinghai Jiang, 64, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at RWJ Somerville. Born in Tianjin, China, Xinghai came to the United States in 1988 and resided in Hillsborough for 27 years.

Xinghai received his PHD from North Dakota State University. He worked for Johnson & Johnson as a statistical programmer for 20 years.

During his free time, Xinghai enjoyed listening to classical music and visiting museums and the opera. He found joy and peace in reading, especially about world history, travel, music, and classic literature. Xinghai was a member of several regional choirs and Toastmasters. He had a passion for photography and cooking. Xinghai enjoyed traveling to Paris, Rome and Florence, and he spent time learning two languages, French and Italian.

Most importantly, Xinghai enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Peifong Xu.

Surviving are his loving wife, Jin Li, his daughter, Shan Jiang of CA; his father, Zhong Jiang, a brother, Haikuan Jiang of Tianjin China, a sister, Haipeng Jiang of Tianjin China, and two nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1pm-4pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
