William C. McGlynn , 92, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare at Woods Edge in Bridgewater. Born in Hazleton, PA he formerly resided in Raritan before moving to Branchburg 46 years ago. Mr. McGlynn retired in 1980 as an Assistant Plant Manager after working for more then 30 years with Kentile Floors in South Plainfield. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy in 1980. Surviving are his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Philistine McGlynn, his loving daughter, Jane Facchini and husband, Claudio of Wantagh, NY, his loving sons, William and wife, Phyllis of Watchung and Patrick of Sarasota, FL, ten grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 AM on Saturday at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876 (908) 526-7638, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
