William J. Kozic, Sr. Bridgewater, NJ William J. Kozic, Sr., 84, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Born in New Brunswick, NJ he lived in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater for most of his life. William was a graduate of Bound Brook High School class of 1954. William was an avid Mets fan, belonged to various bowling leagues, had a love for dogs, nature walking, dancing, and the Jersey shore. He and his companion, Dorothy McLaughin, enjoyed going on trips with the Middlesex Senior's Group. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and love him. William was employed with the Lipton Tea company in Flemington, NJ for over 27 years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Florence M (Reed) and Edward J Kozic; and his sister, Elizabeth "Betsy" Kozic. Surviving are his three dear sons, William Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Bethlehem, PA, Gary of Bound Brook, NJ, and Stephen of Augusta, GA; three loving daughters, Gail and husband James Geoghan of Piscataway, NJ, Terri Volling of Stowe, PA, and Tracy and husband Daniel Crowley of Kenmore, WA; two brothers, Edward and wife Janice Kozic of Raritan, NJ, and Jack and wife Vicky Kozic of Warren Center, PA; his sister, Barbara Staff of Branchburg, NJ; seven cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Douglas, Matthew, Chelsea, Tyler, Brittany, and Gabriella. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 3-7pm and Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 10-11am with an 11am prayer service at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
