William J. Bauer

William J. Bauer, 80, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Green Knoll Care Rehabilitation and Care Center. Born in Bayonne, NJ, Bill resided in Sergeantsville before moving to Branchburg.

Bill served our country in the Air Force from 1964-1968 as an A3C.

After serving, Bill became the Owner/Operator for his own business as a Truck Driver for 35 years before his retirement in 2005.

During his free time, Bill enjoyed reading, gardening, photography, and camping. He loved watching TV and listening to music.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Magdaline Bauer nee Kling and Charles Bauer, his siblings, his first wife Frances M. Bauer, nee Karol and son Keith M. Bauer.

Surviving is his dear wife of 18 years, Jennifer A. Bauer, his daughter Lori A. Warden, son-in-law James Warden, stepson Chris Miller and wife Eilene; and three cherished grandchildren, Colin Miller, Matti Miller, and Tyler Warden.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 20 from 3pm-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

Family and friends are welcomed to gather at Branchburg Funeral Home for a viewing on Saturday, March 21 from 10am-11am with a service beginning at 10:30am.

Burial to follow at South Branch Reformed Cemetery 870 River Road Hillsborough, NJ 08844

Following the services, it is the wishes of the family for relatives and friends to join them for a repast at the Green Knoll Grille located at 645 US-202, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Those unable to attend the services are warmly welcome to gather with the family.
