Wanda Lou Goldsworthy

Wanda Lou Goldsworthy, 88, of Somerville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Laurel Circle.

Wanda Lou graduated from Trenton State with her Bachelor's Degree in Education. Upon graduating, Wanda Lou began teaching at Central school for three years. Then taught at Stony Brook Elementary School for 24 years before her retirement in 1998.

During her free time, she enjoyed knitting, playing Bridge, and spending time with friends. Wanda Lou was a member of the New Jersey Story Telling League. She loved to travel, collecting memories from the fifty plus countries she visited. Her favorites were Australia and Africa. Most importantly, Wanda enjoyed spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Cora Mae and Clarence Henry, her son, Robert Goldsworthy and her brother, Robert MacKenzie.

Surviving is her beloved husband of seventy years Arthur Goldsworthy. Her two dear sons, Thomas and wife Vivian (Podgainy) Goldsworthy of Alexandria, VA; David Goldsworthy of Nevada City, CA; three loving daughters, JoAnn Flecknoe of Golden, CO; Sarah Nemeth of Manville, NJ; Carrie Goldsworthy of Nevada City, CA; five cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Olivia, Elizabeth, Eddie, and three adored great grandchildren, Lee, Bernadette, and Francine. Her sister Kimerly MacKenzie.
