Walter J. Renner Branchburg, NJ Walter J. Renner, 73, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at RWJ New Brunswick. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, Walter spent most of his life in Nutley before moving to Branchburg one year ago. Walter graduated from Bloomfield High School, Class of 1966. After graduating, he went on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy. Walter worked at Home Depot in the Customer Service department for 20 years before retiring in 2016. Mr. Renner loved art and music. In High School, Walter joined a band and was their former drummer. He enjoyed being on the water and collecting football cards. The one thing Walter enjoyed the most was being a father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy E. Renner, and his parents, Isabel and Walter Renner, and his brother Todd Renner. Surviving are his two living daughters, Laurie and husband Rich Acosta of Glen Gardener, NJ; Lynn and husband Jeremiah Olsen of Chicago, IL; one sister, Jan Renner of Dania Beach, FL; and two cherished grandchildren, William and Connor. Committal is private.
