Viola treasured the special moments with each of her family members, especially her grandchildren. Viola was a gourmet cook and enjoyed bringing her family together over dinner. She enjoyed baking and making donuts with her grandchildren while she told them fond stories about her early childhood. She loved feeling the warmth of the sun's rays and the ocean. Viola had happy memories of her vacations in Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, fishing and boating in Florida and trips to Atlantic City. She enjoyed tending to her gardens of vegetables, herbs and roses and knitting blankets, hats and scarves to keep her loved ones warm.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Irene Horvath (nee Kovacs) and Istvan Horvath and her husband Kalman Kocsis. Surviving are her two loving daughters, Violet Kocsis and husband John Burns of Bloomsbury, NJ; Lisa and husband Thomas Volk of Bedminster, NJ; sister, Ilonya Nyemcsok (nee Horvath) of Hungary; and three cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Isabella, and Claudia.
