Vincent A. Aliberto , 95, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center-Haven Hospice, Plainfield. Born in Tuckahoe, New York, Vincent lived in Raritan for the last 64 years. He worked as a laborer and supervisor at Union Carbide Corp. in Bound Brook for 33 years before retiring in 1974. He was a communicant at St. Ann R.C. Church, Raritan and was a member of its Golden Age Group and its Holy Name Society. Vincent also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Somerset Council #1432, the Raritan Senior Citizens and the Bakelite Old Timers Club, a division of Union Carbide. He enjoyed gardening and working around the house and loved a good party especially with his family. Vincent was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Ellen E. Comandini Aliberto in 2004. Surviving are his daughters Marie Murphy and son-in-law George of Salem, So. Carolina, Barbara Morris and son-in-law James K. of Grantham, New Hampshire, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, Diego Villegas.
