Tyrone Davis 2003 Church Man of the Year Bridgewater Tyrone Davis 61 died Monday (Nov.15, 2004) at the Haven Hospice John F. Kennedy Hospital, Edison, N.J. Born in Newark, he formerly resided in Somerset for eleven years, moving to Bridgewater seven years ago. He was a bus driver for N.J. Transit of Maplewood for several years until retiring in 2003. Tyrone was a member of Cathedral International of Perth Amboy and was awarded 2003 Man of The Year at the church. He was active with the Man to Man ministry of the Cathedral and the F.O.J. security ministry. His hobbies included traveling, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years Louretta Miller Davis, his dear sons Tyrone Jr. and wife Monica of Bear, Delaware, Edwin Paul and wife Sheila of Knightsdale, N.C., daughter Darcell Davis Williams and husband Willie of Hackettstown, his cherished grandchildren Dalila, Joshua T., Isaiah, Elijah and Andrew and additional family and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday from 10 till 11 A.M. at the Cathedral International Church, Madison Avenue, Perth Amboy with Services at 11:00A.M. Interment will follow at the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, Kenilworth, N.J. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Branchburg Funeral Home, Branchburg, N.J.
