Obituary

Timothy L. Poole Flemington, NJ Timothy L. Poole, 44, of Flemington, NJ passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at his home. Born in Somerville, NJ, he spent most of his life in Bridgewater before moving to Flemington 15 years ago. Tim was 1992 graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School and received his Associates Degree from Raritan Valley Community College. He was a network Engineer for the past 20 years at Verizon Wireless in Branchburg, NJ. Tim was an avid Jets fan always hoping for the endless dream to finally see his team have a Superbowl win. He enjoyed hours of NASCAR, bowling and Yankee Games, happy to be a fan of at least one winning team. He was forever a Star Wars fanatic and would make sure he was sitting in the movie theater on opening day for each new release. He planned in great detail his annual Christmas card and found the ugliest Christmas outfits for himself and his dog Britain, always willing to provide a laugh at his expense. And he never failed to brag and gloat when he would win in his fantasy football league, much to the annoyance of his friends who had to listen to him. He is preceded in death by his loving paternal grandparents, Jack and Charlotte Poole, his maternal grandmother, Nancy Moran, and his paternal uncle, Donald Poole. He is survived by his beloved parents, Jeffrey and Joan Moran Poole of Bridgewater, NJ; his sister, Nancy Poole-Connolly of Flemington, NJ; his maternal grandfather Marius Moran of Somerset, NJ; his niece, Kiera P. Connolly and nephew John (Jack) Connolly, both of Flemington, NJ; His aunts and uncles Allen and Jeanette Poole, Debra and Ken Mopsick, Judith and Ron Cerminaro & Nellie Poole; Cousins Rebecca, Mark, Kate, Ariana and Nicolette, extended family and friends. Most especially his beloved Labradoodle, Britain. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10am-12pm with a prayer service at 12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway RT 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Committal will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
