Timothy J. Kuhta, 47, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
Born in Somerville, New Jersey, Timothy was raised in Bridgewater and was a graduate of Bridgewater Raritan High School in 1997. He lived in South Florida for 10 years before moving to Georgia in 2023. An entrepreneur at heart, he started several successful businesses before settling in Georgia to establish Outskirts Sanitation Services. A hardworking man through and through, Timothy took great pride in everything he did, never shying away from a day's work. Charming and friendly, he had an incredible ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like an old friend. Dependable and selfless, he was the kind of person who would be there to lend a hand without ever being asked.
At heart, Timothy was sentimental and cherished the people and animals he loved most, especially his two dogs, Churchill and Roosevelt. He found his greatest happiness outdoors and gathering around the grill with family and friends. Above all else, he had a huge heart, and the love, laughter, and kindness he shared so freely will remain with those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.
Surviving are his mother and father, Jeanne McNamara-Kuhta and Joseph Kuhta; his sister, Jill Boucher; his brother and sister-in-law, Erik and Jenny Kuhta; and his nieces and nephews, Stella, Sawyer, Niel, Joseph, and Sofia.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, located at 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:30 AM, with burial to follow at the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Pluckemin, NJ.
