Tim Amo

Branchburg, NJ

Tim Amo, beloved husband and father passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Born in Summit, NJ, Tim grew up in Pottersville and resided in Basking Ridge before settling in Branchburg 20 years ago.

Tim was a graduate of Voorhees High School (1990) and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Vermont before earning his Master's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Boston University. After graduation, he went on to work for MUFG Union Bank in California as a Manager for the Regulatory Reporting Division.

Tim always entered a room with a bright smile and firm handshake. He enjoyed playing guitar, reading and re-enacting the Harry Potter series for his children. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, freshwater fishing and kayaking. He loved to do crossword puzzles and loved listening to live music. Most of all, he loved coaching his children's baseball, softball and soccer teams.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Surviving are his loving wife of 21 years, Patricia "Trish" Collins Amo, his father Robert Amo of Clinton, NJ; his mother Donna Amo of Lakewood, NJ; one dear son, Declan Amo, a cherished daughter, Teagan Amo, a brother, Todd and wife Monica Amo of Naples, FL; a sister, Tami and husband Dan Kavanaugh of Maplewood, NJ; many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and his canine companion, Buckley.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A second viewing will take place  on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:30am- 10:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home with a prayer service starting at 10:30am.
