Thomas J. Stockage East Stroudsburg, PA Thomas J. Stockage, 86, of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020. Born in Glen Lyon, PA. Thomas moved to Jersey City, attending Lincoln High School, also receiving his Engineering degree from Newark School of Engineering. He resided in Ringwood NJ for most of his married life before moving to East Stroudsburg 15 years ago. Thomas was a Sergeant in the US Army and served in the Korean War from 1950-1953 before being honorably discharged. Thomas worked for the Port Authority as a Civil Engineer in New Jersey and New York for over 20 years before retiring in 2002. While living in East Stroudsburg, Thomas was an active communicant at St. Matthews R.C. Church in East Stroudsburg, PA and was very proud and involved in his religion. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Thomas was an avid Giants and Mets fan, loved fly fishing, oil painting, woodworking, art, annual family reunions, ball room dancing, listening to big band, watching Turner Classic Movies, and adored dogs. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Emilia and Andrew Stockage, his loving wife of 27 years, Lorraine Misikiewicz (2004); his brother Joseph; and his sister, Louise Zabicki. Surviving are his many wonderful nieces and nephews which he had very special relationships. A memorial visitation will be held, Sunday February 23, 2020 from 10am-12pm with a 12pm prayer service at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
