Thomas J. Staff, Jr. , 69, died suddenly on Monday, July 21, 2008. Born in Old Forge, PA, he resided in Manville before moving to Branchburg 30 years ago. Mr. Staff retired in 2002 after 30 years as a laborer with Local 779 in Somerville, NJ. Thomas was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Bridgewater. He enjoyed and was an avid fisherman, hunter and Pittsburg Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas J., Sr. and Anna Katchur Staff and his dear brother, Edward Kresefeski. Surviving are his beloved wife of 41 years, Barbara Kozic Staff and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 8:45 AM on Friday at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
