Thomas Eapen, 75, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Born in Mallappally, Kerala, India, Thomas was a dedicated scholar who earned his double Master's degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). In 1976, he immigrated to the United States, where he lived and worked in Texas and Colorado before making his home in New Jersey. There, he built a life rooted in love, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Thomas was a devoted history enthusiast with a deep appreciation for military and wartime history. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved granddaughters, his family, and his extended siblings. He also found great joy in the outdoors, especially while fishing.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Sosamma and Eapen Kochikozhy, and his brother Mammen Eapen.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Alice; his son Anil and daughter-in-law Lisa, along with their daughters Annalise and Olivia; his daughter Shiny and son-in-law Vijay; and his siblings Annamma, Susy, Johnson, Sissy, Daisy, and late brother Mammen.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 4:00pm –8:00 pm at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will start at 10:00am on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Branchburg Funeral Home. Followed by burial at Highland Cemetery.
