Thomas Joseph Dodd, 63, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at home. Thomas was born on January 28, 1957 in South Bend, Indiana to Thomas and Loraine Dodd. He grew up in South Bend, attended St. Joseph's High School, Purdue University and Ohio Northern Law School where he earned degrees in Chemical Engineering and Law. Tom lived in Indianapolis and Borne, Texas before moving to New Jersey in 2004. He was employed at Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ for the past 16 years as an Assistant General Counsel-Patents. Tom was involved with the Evans Scholars Foundation in New Jersey as well as the First Tee Association and was an avid golfer and grew up golfing with his dad every week. During his time in New Jersey, Tom most enjoyed golfing with his buddies every weekend at many different courses and in many different tournaments. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lori Dodd, and his dad, Thomas E. Dodd. He is survived by his mother, Loraine J. Dodd, of South Bend, his sister Anne (George Gordon) Schramm of Napa, CA, his niece Amanda Schramm, of Napa, CA and many colleagues and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
