Thomas J. Castellano
, 89, died Thursday, November 27, 2008.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he resided in Lyncroft, Cranbury, and Manchester before moving to Raritan in 2002.
He was a Tool and Die Maker with various companies for forty years until retiring in 1984.
Thomas was an Army Veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Josephine, Lena, and Mary and two brothers, Charles and Anthony.
Surviving are his wife of sixty years, Marie Cannava Castellano, his loving daughters, Regina Lukin and husband, Fred of Branchburg, Donna Bildstein and husband, Karl of Stockton, his two cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Lukin and Corinne Bildstein, his dear sister, Helen D'Agostino of Holbrook, Long Island, N.Y. and dear brothers, Carmine Castellano of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Dominic Castellano of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Funeral services will begin with a prayer, Monday, December 1, 2008 at 8:45am at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 U.S. Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville, NJ.
Entombment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum, Red Bank, NJ.
Visitation hours will be today (Saturday, November 29, 2008) 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
