Theresa "Terri" de Poortere

Theresa "Terri" de Poortere, 67, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville after a long battle with cancer. Born in Morristown, NJ; Terri resided in Branchburg for 25 plus years.

Terri graduated from Bernard's High School class of 1974. After graduating, Terri went on to work for HSBC as a Senior Claims Adjuster for 30 plus years before her retirement in 2018.

Terri loved spending time at the beach and in her garden. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and The Bachelorette & hanging out in the gazebo with family and friends. Terri had a huge love for her Samoyed dogs and spending quality time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen de Poortere (2014) and her sister, Michelle Ferrante (2017).

Surviving are her parents, Sandra and Michael Bolink, her loving companion, Kevin McCrea Jr., her dear brother, Matthew and wife Mary Anne Bolink of Branchburg, NJ; her dear sister, Sandy and husband Garry Bradfield of High Bridge, NJ; and several loving nieces and nephews.
