Theodore Bench Raritan, NJ Theodore (Ted) Carl Bench born on 5/29/28 and deceased on 11/18/19 under the care of Treasure Coast Hospice and Martin Restorative and Nursing Care in Stuart, FL. Ted was born in Staten Island, NY, son of Frederick and Margaret Bench. He resided in Staten Island and then moved to New Jersey where he resided until his retirement. His life was blessed with his loving wife of 66 years, Ethel, and his beloved children Theodore Bench (Eunice Bench); Ronald Bench (Grace Bench) and daughter Beth Fecteau. Added blessings are grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother Ernest; and sisters Margaret and Elizabeth. His smile, hard work, and generosity are well documented in the way that he conducted his life. "Bench Fashion Floors" in Raritan, NJ was very much his life's work and another blessing as his sons Ron and Ted labored with him to build his dream and theirs. Their successes in the business world are many and the "Bench Fashion Floors" tradition is carried on by son Ronald as together they built a building and a legacy. Services will be held at Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876 on Sunday, December 1st from 2-4pm. A special memorial in Long Lake, NY will be held summer of 2020.
