Terence L. Cahill

Terence L. Cahill, 79, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. Born in Palisades Park, Terence resided in Oakridge before moving to Bridgewater.

A proud veteran who honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he later built a successful career as the owner of a home care equipment business, where he was known for his dedication and work ethic.

An avid traveler, he visited more than 120 islands throughout the world, with Turkey holding a special place in his heart as his favorite destination. At home, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether playing poker with friends, shooting a game of billiards, or trying his luck at bingo. A lifelong learner with an exceptional intellect and high IQ, he was an enthusiastic reader who often finished several books each week.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Catherine and Leo Cahill and his brother, Dennis Cahill.

Surviving are his loving wife Barbara Cahill and many cherished cousins.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a funeral mass on Monday. July 13, 2026 at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ, 08869 followed by burial at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Randolph, NJ.
