Susie Appezzato Bridgewater, NJ Susie Appezzato, 87, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough. Born in Plainfield, NJ, she resided in Scotch Plains for over 20 years before moving to Bridgewater. Susie had a smile that would light up every room she walked in. Family was her life. Spending quality time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was what she cherished most. She was an avid bingo player, loved cooking and baking, playing cards, and taking trips to Atlantic City with her family and friends. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. Susie is preceded in death by her parents, Theresa Verdicchio and Domenick Mastroianni; her beloved husband Albert Appezzato (2009); a brother, Jesse Mastroianni; and two sisters, Antoinette Pasquarello and Florence Daniele. Surviving are her dear son, Louis and wife Patricia Appezzato of Beach Haven West, NJ; three loving daughters, Theresa husband Vincent Omelio of Readington, NJ, Deborah and husband Richard Polhemus of Washington, NJ, and Sandra and husband Michael Shamy of Branchburg, NJ; 3 wonderful sisters, Minnie Fania of Flemington, NJ, Mary Trinka of FL, and Carmela and husband Frank Merrill of Seaside Park, NJ; twelve cherished grandchildren, Christina, Jacqueline, Vincent Jr., Britt, Ashley, Kimberly, Samantha, Anthony, Alexis, Corey, and Mikayla; and 11 adored great-grandchildren, Aiden, Dylan, Hunter, Jax, Jase, Makenzie, Brooklyn, Siena, Colin, Kendall, and Giulianna. Viewing will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm with a rosary prayer at 7:30pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:15am on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater.
