Stephen Andrew Meszaros Jr. Old Bridge, NJ Stephen Andrew Meszaros Jr., 84, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he resided in Hopelawn, NJ, before moving to Old Bridge 30 years ago. Stephen was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Perth Amboy, NJ, and communicant of Holy Spirit R.C. Church in Perth Amboy, NJ. Stephen was an avid Green Bay Packers and Boston Red Soxs fan, he loved sports, fishing and crabbing, cooking his native Hungarian dishes, baking and traveling to the Jersey Shore, Cape Cod, and Atlantic City, Through-out his life he also traveled through Europe, especially Italy, Portugal, Spain, France and Africa. He was a devout man of faith and very active in his church. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Stephen and Anne (Fazekas) Meszaros; his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara (Bruno) Meszaros (2012); his brother, Robert Meszaros; and his nephew, Robert Meszaros Jr. Surviving are his beloved daughter, Lisa Meszaros of Branchburg, NJ; his dear nieces, Dawn Meszaros of South River, NJ, Sherri of Florida and many wonderful cousins and beloved friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 25th, 2019 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM with a Eulogy by Pastor Peter Roselle of King of Kings Worship Center, Basking Ridge NJ.
