Shirley Meister, 85, of Somerset, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing Home. Born in Camden, NJ, Shirley resided in Somerset for 50 years. Shirley helped with patients at The Arch of Somerset. In her younger years, Shirley was a member of the motorcycle club and even got her own motorcycle. Shirley loved going to church. One thing Shirley enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, and a daughter, Lori Beckhorn (2018). Surviving are her dear son Wayne Wilkinson of Somerset, NJ; a loving sister, Francis Peterson of Delaware; and many adored grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:15am. A funeral mass follow at 11am at Honey's Child Ministries 652 Old York Road Neshanic Station, NJ 08853. Committal is private.
