Sharon Rose Lawler (nee Huhn), 68, of Bridgewater NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson Somerset, Somerville, NJ. Born in Plainfield NJ, where she lived with her family until moving to Bridgewater in 1960.

Sharon graduated from Bridgewater Raritan High School East Class of 1974, and the College of Saint Elizabeth in 1978 with a degree in Biology. Sharon worked as a scientist/Sr. technical writer at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. from 1978 until she retired in 1999. Sharon was a member of the Post Polio Network of New Jersey, volunteered with the Pregnancy Aid Center in Raritan, NJ and was a member of the Holy Trinity Alter Rosary Society. She loved to travel and visit churches and shrines. She was a talented pianist, loved cats and other animals, western movies, and crossword puzzles and sudoku to keep her mind active. Sharon was very fortunate and won two new cars in separate raffles.

She is preceded in death by her father Cornelius A. Huhn Jr, her birth mother Dolores (Roman) Huhn, sister Dolores (Huhn) Fouche and brother Cornelius A. Huhn, III.

Surviving are her loving husband Edward Lawler and her daughter Elizabeth/Luca Lawler of Bridgewater, NJ; her mother Irmgard Huhn of Bridgewater, NJ: her sisters, Linda and husband Glenn Delloiacono of Leesburg, FL; Erica and husband David Willoughby of Bridgewater, NJ; Irmee and husband Raymond Lopez of Pittstown, NJ; Cyndy Sudzus of Raritan, NJ; her brother Raymond Huhn of Bridgewater, NJ; sister-in law Susan Huhn of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4-8pm, and Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 9:00-9:30 am, at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 south, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church, 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater, NJ.

Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Mausoleum in South Plainfield, NJ.
