Salvatore Pedalino, 81, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at RWJ in Somerville. Born in Newark, Salvatore grew up in Nutley and spent 20 years in Watchung before moving to Bridgewater.

Salvatore graduated from Nutley High School. After graduating, he worked in the fashion industry running his family's garment business, Pedalino Dress Company, which he owned and successfully operated for many years. After selling the business, Salvatore began a career as a Professional Insurance and Financial Planner.

In his younger years, Sal loved flying and earned his pilot's license.

During his free time, Sal loved being in the outdoors fishing, hunting or boating. He also enjoyed following the stock exchange and investing. But, most importantly, Sal enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lena and Peter Pedalino, his two sisters, Vita and Jeanie, and his brother, Joseph.

Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret Jones Pedalino, his dear son, Jason and wife Susan Pedalino of Morristown; three loving daughters, Celeste and husband Nick Vernon of Suffolk, VA; Dana Boyd of Tucson, AZ; Nicole and husband Dave Stinner of Readington; his sister, Florence Wylde of Bridgewater; six cherished grandchildren, Shane and wife Talia Vernon, Casey and husband Joel Brown, Amanda Boyd, Luca, Liam and Logan Pedalino, and four adored great grandchildren, Asher Vernon, Goldie Brown, Easton Vernon and Lucy Brown.

Sal touched many lives in both his personal and professional spheres and was well respected by all he knew. His friendliness and sense of humor will be missed.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 9:30am-12:00pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 with a prayer service beginning at 11:30am.
