Rudolph Finch Branchburg, NJ Rudolph Finch, 87 (affectionately known as Willie), of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at RWJ in Somerville, NJ. Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, Willie resided in Atlanta, Ga for 2 years before moving to Branchburg 7 months ago. Willie was self-employed as a driving instructor for 10 years before retiring in 2002. Mr. Finch was an avid bible reader and loved to pray. He enjoyed playing scrabble, dominoes, and liked to do DIY's and tend to his garden. The one thing Willie enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Finch, beloved parents, Evelyn and Rudolph Finch, one brother, Elijah Bennett (Biggs), and five sisters, Elsaida Sims (Sadie), Maudline Duhaney (Maud), Emily Moxom (Kitty), Rebecca Thompson (Princess), and Francis Thomlinson (Blossom). Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Inese Agatha Finch, two loving daughters, Dolores and husband Paul Frederick of London, England; Cordell Finch of Branchburg, NJ; one sister, Isabella Cooper of Derbyshire, England; three cherished grandchildren, Shaun Frederick, Marsha Connolly, and Mikeala Finch, and 19 nieces and nephews including Noel Cooper and Yvonne Thomas. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 10am-12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 12pm. Committal is private.
