Rose Romeo, 97, of East Meadow New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025 with her daughter and son-in-law at her bedside.

With a high school degree, Rose later became a seamstress for 40 years. In her free time, she loved to knit, crochet blankets and baby clothes. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family including taking trips to Orlando, Clearwater Beach, and Madeira Beach, Florida. She enjoyed going to Disney and Universal Parks with her grandchildren in Florida. Rose enjoyed watching TV shows and was an avid reader and lover of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Rose is preceded in by her beloved parents, Mary and Salvatore Grancio, her dear husband Tom Romeo and her son Tommy Romeo.

Surviving are her son Anthony and wife Dawn Romeo, daughter, JoAnn Romeo and husband Anthony Guardino, her cherished grandchildren, Amanda and husband John DiBella, Michael Romeo and Anthony and wife Tahlia Romeo who is pregnant with her Third Great Grandchild, and Two Great Grandchildren, Lorenzo DiBella and Gianni DiBella.

Rose's life will be honored in a private service held by her family.
