Rose Healy - 10/6/46 - 12/23/25

Rose Healy, 79, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at her home. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rose spent most of her childhood in Brooklyn before moving to Bridgewater in the late 60's.

Rose graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. After graduating and moving to New Jersey, Rose worked for State Bank of Raritan Valley and Somerset Trust Company. Rose then worked for Grand Union in Raritan and Pathmark in Somerville for many years, until her retirement in 2011.

During her free time, you could find Rose knitting, crocheting, playing bingo, mahjong and watching WWE. She also enjoyed assisting with activities and fund raising events at Husky House Dog Rescue in Matawan. She had a fantastic sense of humor and always knew what to say to make you laugh! She'd never met a stranger and was always up for a cup of coffee and great conversation! Most importantly, she enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Peter Palazzo, her sisters, Phyllis Pappallado and Gaetana Mirra, and her two brothers, Ignazio and Vincent Palazzo.

Surviving are her loving husband, Martin Healy, two loving daughters, Rose Ann Healy and Lorraine Healy, her dear son, Matthew and wife Jennie Healy, her loving sisters, Eleanor Jones and Anna Coriasco, five cherished grandchildren, Madison, Trevor, Brody, Shannon, and Damion, and her fur babies, Benny, Suzi, Bear and Murphy.

Committal is private.
