Ronald A. Viglianti Annandale, NJ Ronald A. Viglianti, 78, of Annandale, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Ronald grew up in Westfield, NJ where he graduated from Westfield High School, Class of 1961, having earned varsity letters in football, wrestling and baseball. He then attended the University of Rhode Island before going into his family's business, Andrew's Shoes, and serving part-time in the National Guard. Later, Mr. Viglianti worked for the Town of Mountainside, NJ as a Police Dispatcher for several years before retiring in 2008. Mr. Viglianti had a passion for sculpting, drawing, woodwork and other forms of art. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and reading. Ron was an avid Yankees fan, as well. The one thing Ronald enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandson Luke. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lillian and Andrew Viglianti, and his brother, Robert Viglianti. Surviving are his son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Derek, Jann and Luke Viglianti of Hillsborough, NJ, brother Drew and his wife Mary Ellen Viglianti of Lancaster, PA, brother Gregory and his wife Susan Viglianti of Dover, MA, sister-in-law Linda Viglianti of Mountainside, NJ and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Committal is private.
