Toms River, NJ – Ronald Garritano, 76, died on January 26, 2015. He was born in Cliffside Park, NJ on October 3, 1938 to his dear parents, Josephine Cacciaguida and Frank Garritano. Ronald was an accomplished Electrical Engineer for both Rheometrics Inc. in Piscataway and TA Instruments Inc. in New Castle, DE with over 11 patents. He was an avid reader (very much into technology), loved to cook and travel with his wife, was a hardworker and dedicated to his crafts, enjoyed fitness and spending quality time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. Ronald is survived by his loving sons, Frank Garritano of Readington and Craig (Kelly) Garritano of New Hope, PA; two dear sisters, Barbara (Ramsey) Gunderson of Cliffside Park NJ and Jeanette Wilson; seven wonderful grandchildren, Gabrielle, Christopher, Craig Jr., Francesca, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Tyler; and a dear daughter-in-law, Bonnie Garritano of Flemington. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Margaret Garritano of 36 years (April 28, 1999); his son, Peter Garritano (2001); his parents; a brother, Rudolph Garritano; a sister, Claire DeSimone. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, (908-526-7638). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Burial is private.
