Rocchina S. Bruno Furia , 83, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Warminster Hospice in Warminster, PA. Born in Foggia, Italy, she immigrated to the United States at age 2, settling in Newark, N.J. She then resided in Fords, N.J. before moving to Florida in 1981. Mrs. Furia worked for 30 years as a bookkeeper for Mauro Motors in Woodbridge until retiring. She was an avid bowler and loved to travel the world with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Salvatore F. Furia, May, 2009. Surviving are her loving son, Phillip Furia and wife, Cora of Flemington, her loving daughter, Sandra Furia and husband, Steve Billingsley of Rydal, PA; her two cherished grandchildren, Salvatore Furia of Hoboken and Michelle Yianolatos and husband, Michael of Chaddsford, PA; her two great-grandchildren, Sam and Max; and her dear sister, Anna Carbone of East Brunswick. Funeral services will begin with a prayer on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 9:45 AM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Interment will follow in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse, NJ. Viewing hours are Friday, July 24, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
