Robert Anthony Rapone Jr., 58, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Morristown, NJ, Robert "Bob" lived in Basking Ridge and Manville before settling in Whitehouse Station.

Bob spent most of his life working as a highly skilled tractor-trailer driver, a profession he took great pride in. He also achieved 27 years of sobriety, a powerful testament to his strength, perseverance, and character.

Bob found his greatest happiness in the simple life he shared with his fiancé at their beautiful home. He truly cherished being outdoors, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and spending time with their beloved dogs, Fender and Lily. He enjoyed NASCAR, fixing cars, and was always working on something around the house, finding joy in staying busy and taking care of the people he loved. Those who knew Bob will remember his calm, easygoing nature, his steady presence, and his quiet willingness to help anyone in need.

He is predeceased by his beloved mother, Alberta A. Gordon; his brothers, Scott and Bruce Morrell; and his stepfather, Donald Suiter.

Bob is survived by his loving father, Robert A. Rapone Sr. and his wife, Violet; his fiancé, Lynnette Geraghty; his two cherished daughters, Jessica and her husband, Corey Faas of Bedminster, and Casey Rapone of Manville, NJ; his sister, Lisa Rapone of Union, NJ; and his two adored granddaughters, Stella and Abigail Faas.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876, with a prayer service beginning at 5:30 PM. Committal will be private.
