Robert W. Harris Cape Coral, FL Robert W. Harris, 75, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Born in Darby, PA he resided in Florida and spent his summers in Mantoloking, NJ. Before his retirement, Robert worked in sales as an Executive for various companies throughout his career. He was a Baseball Coach for the Bordentown Diners, and was a member of the Classic T-Bird Club of America. Robert was the heart and soul of his large, extended, crazy family. He treasured spending quality time with them, especially his grandchildren whom he adored. He was a recreational golfer and boater, had a passion for cars, traveling, the beach, and adored his home in Florida which he called "Paradise". He will be tremendously missed and will be forever remembered. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jim and Helen Day Surviving are his beloved wife of 20 amazing years, Julie Smith; 3 dear sons, Robert and wife Kimberly Harris of Yardley, PA, John Smith of Mantoloking, NJ, and Christopher and wife Debbi Smith of Boonton, NJ; 4 loving daughters, Cindi and husband Edward Vrabec of Lumberton, NJ, Christine and husband Michael Nucera of Eastampton, NJ, Brenna and husband Brian Murphy of Branchburg, NJ, and Taylor Harris of South Plainfield, NJ; 2 wonderful brothers, Alan and wife Elaine Harris of Bolton, MA, and James and wife Terry Day of Williamsburg, VA; his special sister, Doreen and husband William Franklin of Thorton, PA; 16 cherished grandchildren, Sean N., Chelsea, Emily, Brielle, Matthew, Peter, Mackenzi, Brandon, Hunter, Logan, Brian, Delenyi, Sean M., Dylan, Connor, and Gavin; his adored great-grandchild, Lilly; and his loyal service dog, Gunner. Viewing will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1-5pm with a prayer service at 3pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876. Committal is private.
