Robert D. Hann , 80, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Somerville, Robert has resided in Bridgewater since 1966. Mr. Hann worked as the Return Supervisor for Village Office Supply for the past twenty years. Robert was a member of the Atoms R.C. Model Airplane Club, and he enjoyed quality time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Carl G., Sr. and Stella Myskowski Hann; and a sister, Bernice "Sis" Aufrichtig. Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Hirleman Hann; his loving daughter, Denise Hann of Charlotte, NC; his loving son, James Hann and his wife, Kathy, of Ballwin, MO; his five cherished grandchildren, Wade and Alexa Hann-Caruthers and Grace, Cole, and Allison Hann; his dear brothers, Carl Hann and his wife, Regina of Newport, NC and Richard Hann and his wife, Mary of Hillsborough; and his sister, Carol Petrie and husband, Frank of Bethlehem, PA. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10 AM at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge. Viewing hours are Friday, February 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
