Rita B. Terry Bridgewater, NJ Rita Terry, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 92. Born in Oxford, NY, Rita resided in Pine Beach, NJ for over 30 years before moving to Bridgewater 4 years ago. Rita graduated from Bainbridge High School, NY, Class of 1948. Rita was an avid bowler who once achieved a perfect score. She enjoyed reading, traveling, boating, water skiing, and doing crossword puzzles. She loved throwing a great party with family and friends. Rita was always quick with a smile and loved being with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo I. Terry (2007). Surviving are her dear son, David and wife Debbie Terry of Ocean City, NJ; three loving daughters, Claudia and husband Richard Hoomans of Port Charlotte, FL; Melissa and husband David Bernardi of Beaufort, SC; Jennifer and husband Carmelo Manna of Bridgewater, NJ; one brother, Raymond Mertz of Florida; eleven cherished grandchildren, Katie, David, Robert, Kyle, Nicholas, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, Nicholas, Lea, and Eric, and eight adored great grandchildren, Nolan, Madeline, Quinn, David Jose, Nora, Maeve, Nova, and Daxton. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10am at St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater, NJ.
