Richard O. Schlack Branchburg, NJ Richard Schlack, 84, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Rahway and raised in Cranford NJ, Richard moved to Milpitas California after marrying in 1961. In 1973 Richard moved back to New Jersey where he has resided in Branchburg for the past 49 years. Richard graduated from Cranford High School, Class of 1956. He then went on to receive his Associates degree from Rutgers's University in Marketing. Richard enlisted in the Army National Guard 102nd Armored Cavalry in March 1954. Enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1955 and served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Schlack worked for Granger Associates as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for 30 plus years before retiring in 1988. Rick was a member of the American Legion Post # 12 and the Raritan Branchburg Senior Citizens. He was an avid golfer, loved making furniture with his son Tom and attending woodworking and air shows. He loved going to the Outer Banks and Lake George with his family. The one thing he enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Walter and Adele Schlack, two brothers Robert and Walter Schlack and a sister Audrey Abbott. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Rose Marie Parella Schlack, three dear sons, Robert and wife Michelle Schlack of Bethlehem, PA; Richard W. and wife Stacey L. Schlack of Lebanon, NJ; Thomas and wife April Schlack of Glen Gardner, NJ; ten cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Cory, Richard, Andrew, Robert, Makayla., Jacob, Tyler, Bradley, and Amy and two adored great grandchildren, Noah and Summer and several loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11am-2pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:30pm.
