Richard C. Johnson, 58, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born and raised in Raritan, NJ, where he resided for many years.

Richard tended bar and cooked at Michael's Inn for many years. He also worked at various deli's and pizzerias. An avid AC/DC fan, Richard could be found listening to their music. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Bears play football, and loved to go fishing. Richard was always seen with a smile on his face, cracking jokes which had a way of spreading laughter to all those around him.

Richard is preceded in death by his beloved son Richard C. Johnson, his grandparents John and wife Angie Kane, and Richard and wife Violet Johnson, his brother Anthony Johnson, and many aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his loving mother Patricia Johnson and father James Johnson Sr, his brothers James Johnson, and Douglas Johnson, and his nephew Jeffrey Johnson.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg NJ 08876 with a prayer service beginning at 5:30 PM.
