Obituary

Richard Hann, 87, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Somerville, NJ, he resided in Hillsborough for 60 years. Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War while stationed in Panama from 1953-1955. Richard was a member of Mary Mother of God Church and Atom R. C's model Airplane Club. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and building radio controlled airplanes. He enjoyed traveling to London, Rome, and Paris with his wife Mary. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Stella and Carl Hann, a sister Bernice Aufrichtig, and a brother Robert Hann. Surviving are his loving wife Mary Hann of 65 years, a dear daughter Barbara and husband James McMenamin of Green Brook, NJ; two dear sons, Richard and wife Maureen of Nazareth, PA; and Joseph and wife Megan Hann of Flemington, NJ; his brother Carl Hann Jr of Newport, NC; a sister Caroline and husband Frank Petrie of Bethlehem, PA; eleven adored grandchildren, Jimmy and wife Jenna, Michael and wife Maura, Ryan, Alex, Jenna, Lexie, Taylor, William, and James, and Joseph and six cherished great grandchildren, William, Brianna, David, Jonah, Jeremy and Alizar and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private.
