Raymond Vincent Scupp was a thoughtful, loving, and generous husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He left this world suddenly on February 8, 2025 at age 68.

He was born to Raymond and Dorothy "Dottie" Scupp on November 12, 1956. In 1982, Ray met the love of his life Denise Stolz, and after a few jokes across the filing cabinet he convinced her to go on a first date to play racquetball. Together, they had two children: Rachel and Lauren, and went on many adventures to Disney World, wineries, restaurants, and trips abroad.

Ray loved spending time woodworking, helping family and friends, making pizza, bowling, coaching his daughters' sports teams, dancing, serenading others, making home repairs, and working at Home Depot. He was a loving soul who cared deeply about his family, friends, and pets, and made an impact on anyone lucky enough to meet him. His joyous and bright personality could fill a room as much as his excellent dance moves and one-man-Rockette and cheerleading performances.

Ray is survived by his mother Dorothy, his brothers Robert "Bobby," Kevin, and Gerald "Jerry," his sister Karen, his wife Denise, his daughters Rachel Jorge and Lauren Hanneken, his son-in-laws Michael Jorge and Seth Hanneken, and his granddaughter Juniper Jorge. Ray is predeceased by his father Raymond Scupp.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 11AM-1PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 12:30pm. Committal is private.
