Randy Furino passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 48. He resided in Neshanic Station with his loving wife Rachael and their three cherished children, John, Michael and Peri. His love for his family surpassed everything else.

Randy and Rachael have been together for 25 years and celebrated their 20 year wedding anniversary this past April. A devoted husband, Randy was proud of Rachael, their relationship and their children. He never missed an opportunity to speak highly of his bride and express his deep love and admiration for her. He lived for his family and always made sure they were provided for. Together, Randy and Rachael built a beautiful home and a beautiful life, filled with love and memories which extended far beyond Neshanic Station.

As a father to John, Michael and Peri, Randy never passed up a moment to give advice, always sharing life lessons, building character and manners. He was always so proud to hear from others that his boys shook their hands firmly, looked them in the eye and were respectful. He adored his daughter and was in awe of watching her grow into a capable young woman who fascinated him. He enjoyed the years of football, lacrosse, and basketball games and watching his daughter cheer. Together with his family, they loved to spend time at their shore home in Monterey Beach (Lavallette, NJ). While down the shore they always had a full house hosting extended family and friends. He absolutely loved their yearly trips to Aruba for the past twenty years. He was a huge Yankee fan and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Buddy, their new Labradoodle puppy.

Randy was a humble, casual and simple man, never needing much except the love and company of his family and friends. He loved music and when he found a song that touched him, he'd share it with loved ones, playing it over and over and over. His mom, Shirley (Nena), would refer to him as her favorite middle son who was always intently listening rather than talking.

Randy was gifted with an incredible memory, able to recount details from years ago and had a knack for remembering names. He loved history and had so many unique quotes and random phrases that were truly memorable. He also had a gift of putting those around him at ease, whether it was a complete stranger or a close friend he hadn't seen in years. He would find a way to connect showing genuine interest and sincere care, usually with a one-liner thrown in to make them smile. If you were lucky enough to be close to Randy, you never doubted how much he cared for you. A man of few words, Randy always had plenty of hand shakes, hugs, kisses and jokes for those around him. A truly selfless man, he was always equally generous with his wisdom and his big heart as he was with helping out a friend in need.

A 1992 graduate of Ridge High School, Basking Ridge, NJ, Randy cherished his four years at Ridge and his lifelong friendships he developed. He loved playing football for the Red Devils alongside so many close friends and talented coaches. Over the years Randy loved to reconnect with fellow Ridge alum, to share memories, laughs and simply learn more about their lives.

Randy went to the University of Lynchburg in Virginia where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business in 1996. He continued to forge lifelong friendships and lasting memories. After graduating college, Randy passed the Series 7 & 63 and briefly worked on Wall Street before joining the family business.

Randy, along with his cousin David Furino, owned and operated the family business Furino & Sons, located in Branchburg, NJ. Furino and Sons is a third-generation industrial general contractor that was started in Plainfield in 1925 by their grandfather John Furino, Sr.. The company continued to be run by the second generation, John J, Tom, Alfred, and Randy's father George before being passed down to Randy and David. Randy and David have expanded the business making it the success it is today.

He is preceded in death by his beloved father, George M. Furino in 2012.

Surviving are his loving wife Rachael Van Glahn Furino, two dear sons, John and Michael, his adored daughter, Peri, his mother, Shirley Vickers Furino, brothers Greg and TJ and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins along with his in-laws Sharyn and Tom Van Glahn.

The family appreciates everyone's heartfelt prayers and concern. We trust that Randy is at peace with his father and other loved ones and believe he will forever love and protect his family.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202 South, Branchburg, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 11:00am-11:45am at the Branchburg Funeral Home with a prayer service starting at 11:45. Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Three Bridges at 1pm. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made in Randy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/.
