Phyllis L. Parliament, of Kunkletown PA, formerly of Green Brook NJ, a beloved wife, mother, sister-in-law, aunt, Grammy, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 after a short, unexpected illness. Born Phyllis Lee Miller in Point Pleasant NJ, she leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and a zest for life.

Phyllis was a dedicated office manager and bookkeeper throughout her career. Her meticulous work ethic and attention to detail were admired by colleagues and clients alike. She rounded out her working career as an Office Manager for Mulbro Mfg. Middlesex, NJ before retiring in 2003 and moving to Pennsylvania to enjoy her retirement.

Her true joy in life came from her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the heart and soul of her family, always providing unwavering love and support. Phyllis's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a beloved sister-in-law and aunt who always made time for her extended relatives. A friend to all, like the Motel 6 motto "we'll leave the light on" her door "was always open" to anyone who wanted to stop by for a visit or needed to stop by for an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on. We affectionately referred to it as the revolving door, there was always someone coming or going and that's just how she always wanted it.

Creativity flowed through her veins, and she expressed it in various forms of artistry. She had a natural talent for sewing, knitting, drawing, and painting. Her handcrafted creations were not only beautiful but also served as a testament to her boundless imagination and the love that she poured into every creation. Her artistic abilities were matched only by her sharp wit and infectious sense of humor. Her sarcasm brought laughter to all who knew her, and her quick comebacks were legendary. Anyone that was lucky enough to know her knows she was a Force to be reckoned with.

She never met a Dog she didn't like and cherished the time spent with her dogs over the years. In her free time, she found joy in admiring wildlife. She had a deep appreciation for nature's wonders, finding peace and tranquility in its presence. Her nurturing spirit extended to her house plants, which thrived under her care. Phyllis's green thumb was a testament to her ability to bring life and beauty to everything she touched, chances are one of the plants in your home may have come from a clipping she shared.

Her love and legacy will live on in the lives of her children: Pamela Forte & her husband Ralph; Jeffrey Parliament Jr. both of Middlesex, NJ, Nancy Parliament of Milltown, NJ; Brandy Buchanan, and husband Brian of Branchburg, NJ; and Jennifer Quinn along with her husband Vincent of Hazlet, NJ. Her six treasured grandchildren, Jacey Berger, Jeffrey Reinecke, Jessica Forte, Peyton Buchanan, Colton Buchanan, and Tierney Quinn.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, creativity, and humor will forever be cherished and remembered. May her soul find eternal peace, knowing the impact she had on the lives she touched.

In honoring her final wishes cremation and services will be private, with a celebration of Life at a later date.
