Phillip Anthony Furia, 77, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, loving sibling and loyal friend, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, December 30th. His departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by his family and friends.

Born in Newark, NJ, Phil was the beloved son of Salvatore and Roccina Furia, who preceded him in death.

Phil's love for his family was evident in every moment he spent with them. Whether it was discussing his beloved Yankees, playing golf, or simply sharing laughter around the family dinner table, Phil cherished these moments and created lasting memories for all.

Phil's impact extended beyond his immediate family, as he touched the lives of many with his warm heart, sense of humor, and genuine kindness.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Cora Lynn Furia, and his two children, Sal Furia and Michelle Yianolatos. Phil was a proud grandfather to Sam Yianolatos, Max Yianolatos, Gemma Furia, Adeline Furia, and his sister, Sandra Furia who he adored.

As we bid farewell to Phillip Anthony Furia, we celebrate a man dearly loved. May he find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to comfort those privileged to share in his journey.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A second viewing will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:30am – 11:00am at the funeral home with a prayer service beginning at 11am. Burial to follow at Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse Station, NJ.
