Peter G. Parenti, 75, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville. Born and raised in Plainfield, Peter moved to Bridgewater in 1985.

Owner of P&B Getty in Neshanic, Peter joined the maintenance department at Pingry Schools where he worked until his retirement in 2014.

Aside from working, Peter loved the beach and spent many summers in Point Pleasant, Island Beach, and Sandy Hook. Peter enjoyed spending time at Round Valley where he would go freshwater fishing.

An avid Miami Dolphins and Yankees fan, Peter loved collecting Budweiser and Yankee memorabilia. When he wasn't collecting, Peter always represented his teams by wearing one of their T-shirts. Alongside his hobbies, Peter had a love for oldies music and Elvis was his favorite.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Grace and Angelo Parenti, his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Parenti, his dear son, Andrew Parenti, his brother, Thomas Parenti, his sister, Donna Parenti, and sister in law, Deborah Lamm.

Surviving are his loving daughter in law, Renee Parenti, his cherished granddaughter, Catie, His sister in laws, Olga Parenti of Stewartsville, FL; Barbara and husband John Florentino of Branchburg, NJ; Karen Dikici of Stroudsburg, PA; Annie and husband Dave Potter of Branchburg, NJ; and many loving nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and cousins throughout NJ/PA/DE and FL area.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1-3pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Committal is private.
