Pamela A. Rice Branchburg, NJ Pamela Arline Rice, 74, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Bucks County, PA, Pamela resided in Colonia for 13 years before moving to Branchburg 32 years ago. Pam graduated from Council Rock High School, Class of 1965. After graduating, Pam went on to receive her Nursing degree from Coatesville School of Nursing in Coatesville, PA. She served in the U.S. Army in Korea as an Army Nurse from 1969 to 1970. Pam then went on to work as an Operating Room Nurse for JFK Hospital for 36 years before retiring in 2005. Pamela was a member of the American Association of Operating Room Nurses, Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, and The Antique/Classic Boat Society of Clayton, NY. She had a great love for animals, especially dogs. Pamela was an avid supporter of animal charities especially to St. Hubert's. She enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore and Long Beach Island. Pamela loved to garden and read but most importantly she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her husband Robert. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arline and Daniel Snyder. Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years, Robert F. Rice, two dear brothers, Daniel Snyder III and husband Reverend Jamie Maury of Savannah, GA; Lawrence and wife Judy Snyder of Pawley's Island, SC; and many loving, cousins, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A second viewing will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10am-11am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11am.
