Orsolya Rokob Branchburg, NJ Orsolya Rokob, 88, of Branchburg, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hidegseg, Hungary she immigrated to the US in 1957, and settled in Somerset and Watchung before moving to Branchburg 23 years ago. She prided herself in the fact that she was fluent in three languages, was an accomplished seamstress and also worked for Ethicon, in Bridgewater for 24 years prior to retiring in 1991. Orsolya was a member of the Branchburg Senior Citizen's Club and an avid bingo player. Orsolya loved dancing and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, Andre Rieu, and country music. Orsolya enjoyed cooking, gardening and watching game shows. One thing Orsolya loved the most, was spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Joseph and Maria Balis, her loving husband Frank Rokob of 54 years, and seventeen brothers and sisters. Surviving are her loving daughter, Kathy and husband Ken Levonaitis of Branchburg, NJ; her son, Frank Rokob and wife Susan of Asbury, NJ; three cherished grandchildren, Julie Meyer and her husband Mike, Jackie and Jenny Levonaitis, several nieces and nephews and her loving canine companion, Tyson. Committal is private A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 2-3:30pm with a 3:30pm prayer service at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South in Branchburg, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hunterdon Hospice.
