Olga Vivian Grishkevich Cox , 92, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in High Bridge, she resided in Raritan for most of her life, moving to Bridgewater in 2000. Mrs. Cox was a former seamstress and home health aide worker for several years. She was a former member of St. Bernard R.C. Church in Bridgewater and then St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan. Olga also was a member of St. Ann's Golden Age Group, the Raritan Senior Citizens, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Raritan Volunteer Fire Co. Olga was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Francis J. and her daughter, Jane Gay, both in 1994, her grandson, James Gay, her sister, Annie Derkacs and her brother, Nikolai Grishkevich. Surviving are her loving son, Philip Cox, and wife, Judith, of Somerset, her loving daughter, Kathleen Boardman, and husband, Burton, of Bridgeport, CT, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and her dear brother, Aleck Grishkevich of Las Vegas, NV. A Prayer Service will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876 (908)-526-7638. Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are from 7 to 9 PM on Friday, April 3, 2009, and from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
