Mildred "Millie" Gitch Whitehouse Station, NJ Mildred "Millie" Gitch, 88, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Born in Canton, North Carolina, Mildred resided in the Irvington area for 18 years before moving to Whitehouse Station 40 plus years ago. Mildred was a devoted loving mother who enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading. She enjoyed making her family their favorite meals for dinner and for special occasions. Millie became a member of the United Methodist Church of Whitehouse where she found great comfort and great friends. The one thing she enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years George Gitch (2004) and her son John Gitch (2019). Surviving are her two dear sons, Gary Gitch and ex wife Gail Gitch of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Paul Gitch of Whitehouse Station, NJ; three beloved daughters, Mary Ann and husband Randy Henson of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Dianne and husband Corey Lebo of Flemington, NJ; Kathy and husband Tom Leach of Whitehouse Station, NJ; seven cherished grandchildren, Meghan, Alex, Caitlin, Christine, Thomas (TJ), Kevin, and Avia; three adored great grandchildren, Maya, Phoenix, and Kai, and her grand-dog, Simon. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 1-4pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home. Burial is private.
