Michele "Mike" Lombardi

Michele "Mike" Lombardi, was laid to rest on May 8, 2026 after a lengthy illness. Beside him was his wife Carol, his sister in laws Regina Marchese, and Barbara Lombardi, and his dedicated caregivers. Born on May 6, 1943, in Bojano, Italy to the late Maria Tommaro and Carmine Lombardi. He immigrated to New Jersey at the age of 14 where he became a young entrepreneur and a local barber in Middlesex, NJ until his retirement.

Michele married the love of his life Carol Ann Marchese on November 5, 1972 as he said she was the "missing piece of his heart." Mike was a smart, loving, kind man. He enjoyed reading newspapers daily and doing puzzles. He was a frequent traveler to Pennsylvania, Carol's hometown, where he enjoyed spending quality time with the children of Carol's sister: Michele and her late husband Bill Sotack with their two sons, as well as her late brother Andre, his wife Gina and their three children. Mike loved to enjoy life!

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Maria and Carmine Lombardi, and his two brothers Gaetano and wife Joanne Lombardi, and Mario Lombardi.

Surviving are his loving wife, Carol Ann Marchese Lombardi; sister in law, Barbara Lattanzio Lombardi; and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 10:15am. Funeral Mass to take place at 11am at Holy Trinity Church 60 Maple Street Bridgewater, NJ. Committal is private.
