Michael D'Angelo, 91, of Raritan, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Piscopio, Calabria Italy, Michael immigrated to Toronto, Ontario Canada in 1954, before settling in New Jersey with his beloved wife and children.

Michael worked at Ortho Pharmaceuticals for 25 plus years as a line manager. A talented and driven man, he also owned and operated his own landscaping and construction company.

Michael took great pride in making and gifting his award winning homemade wine to friends and family, eventually passing down his legacy to his son, son in law and several nephews. From Spring to late Fall, you could always find him in his garden taking care of his many vegetables, especially his prized tomatoes. To know him was to feel loved, because he went above and beyond to take care of his family and friends. He sacrificed everything to provide a beautiful life for his family. His love, strength, support, advice and laughter will remembered and cherished most. He showed his family what it meant to be a devoted son, husband, brother, nonno and friend. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elisabetta and Francesco D'Angelo, and two brothers, Antonio and Ignazio D'Angelo.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Rose Natale D'Angelo, a dear son Frank and daughter- in- law, Maria of Flemington, NJ; two loving daughters, Elizabeth D'Angelo of Raritan, NJ; Rose D'Angelo and husband Rocco Romeo of Frenchtown, NJ; grandchildren, Francesca, Michael, Adriana and Alessio; great grandchildren, Sophia and Isabella; two brothers, Nazzareno and wife Anna of Iowa; Antonino and wife Lidia of Toronto, Canada; sisters- in- law, Adelina and Antonina of Toronto, Canada. Sister-in-law Mary and husband Frank Incontrera, Sister-in-law, Irma Natale of Toronto, Canada. sisters in law, Emelia, and Lidia and many nieces and nephews.

Dad, thank you for staying so long until you knew we had the strength to go on without you. We promise to take great care of mom and continue to share all our beautiful memories of you. The greatest privilege we had was taking care of you after you took such great care of us. Rest in paradise, dad. We know the angels are singing your praises. Until we meet again. We love you.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 RT. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 9:15am. Mass will take place at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
